Stroudsburg Church Holds Candlelight Prayer Vigil For Dana Smithers

On Tuesday, June 28, the Christian Life Assembly Church will hold a candlelight prayer vigil from 6 PM to 7 PM. Smithers has been missing from her home in the Stroudsburg Borough since Saturday, May 28.

The Stroud Area Regional Police Department (SARPD) continues to seek the public’s assistance in locating Stroudsburg resident Dana Smithers, who was last seen on May 28, 2022, at approximately 11:05 PM. A ring video camera verified her leaving a friend’s residence with her cell phone in her hand. SARPD reported that Smithers’s cell phone, wallet, and daily medication were found at her residence. A family member stated that Smithers has never stayed away from her young daughter for this length of time. Dana Smithers is described as a 45-year-old white female. She is 5 foot 5 inches and approximately 165 pounds, with brown eyes, brown hair, and wearing black jeans with a burgundy shirt.

The Stroud Area Regional Police Department continues to ask for the public’s assistance for any information regarding missing Stroudsburg Borough resident Dana Smithers. The investigation into this case has not revealed any information on the whereabouts of Ms. Smithers or indicated that any crime was committed.
